This position was not official until 1989, but, in prior years Ken Brown was the League's main liaison with the Connecticut State Soccer Association and so it could be construed he was fulfilling an "unofficial" role as a vice-president. |

The registrar/treasurer position was only known as "League Registrar" until 1989 when it became renamed as "Registrar/Secretary." It reverted back to simply "League Registrar" again in 1990 when the "League Secretary" position became official. In 1994 the position was split into two positions, "League Registrar" and "League Treasurer." The two positions were merged back into one again in 1999 when Steve Henderson resigned after 1999 season. In 2004 the position of Assistant Registrar was created to take some of the workload off the senior registrar. In 2004 the Registrar did the Masters League and Over-30s First Division and the Assistant Registrar did the Over-30s Second and Third Divisions. In 2009 the position was split into two separate positions again. |

The position was not officially recognised as "League Secretary" until 1990. Prior to that the holder of the position really did not have an official title! It was sort of regarded as a multiple role position, doing the League's paperwork, mostly. In 1993 the position was divided into two new positions, "Corresponding Secretary" and "Recording Secretary." After the 1999 season, the two positions were merged back into one again! |

This position was created in 1993 to help lessen the load of the original "League Secretary" position which became renamed "Corresponding Secretary" at the time. The position was eliminated after the 1999 season and rolled back into the Corresponding Secretary's duties. |

| With the League continuing to grow, especially with the Masters League in the early 2000s, it was felt that an Assistant Scheduling Secretary position was also required, starting with the 2006 season. Note that there was a Masters League Scheduling Secretary from 1998 to 2005, but this position was folded into the Over-30s Scheduling Secretary's duties for 2005. With Over-50s and Over-60s leagues due in the near future, the Assistant Scheduling Secretary position will gain in importance. | |||

After only four years, in 1993 the Disciplinary Committee was made defunct in favour of allowing the Connecticut State Soccer Association deal with League discipline. Thirteen years later, however, in 2006, a new position was created on the SASL Executive Board for "Disciplinary Chairman." Ken Brown had taken over this "new" position, basically carrying on his work as the CSSA's Disciplinary Committee Chairman he had been performing for several years. |

| Garry Archer started an independent soccer Website in April 1999 (one of the first, if not the first in Connecticut) and an e-mail list to inform players and managers of Website updates and other soccer news. In 2000 a new position of "Webmaster" was made on the Executive Board. "Website & Email List Administrator," however, is the official and more appropriate title. The e-mail list grew so large that it had to be moved to a proper e-mail list server for improved maintenance and administration. The first list server was the SASL-L LISTERV at the University of Connecticut, initiated in April 2000. Unfortunately, exactly two years later the list had to be shut down owing to the university's policies. The list was immediately transferred to Topica.com as the host in April 2002. The list moved to MailMan at derby.org in March 2006 where performance was better and no advertising! | |||
