2009 "Mini Season":

SASL is shifting to a Fall to Spring schedule, starting September 2009
Spring 2009 is a "Mini Season," basically playing only half a schedule to keep us playing until a full season can be resumed in the Fall (the 2009-2010 Season)
Owing to the shortened season, there will only be basically "one up, one down" type of promotion and relegation mechanism in place (full promotion and relegation quotas will resume for the 2009-2010 Season)
Only divisional champions will receive a trophy, but there will be no medals (full trophy and medal quotas will resume for the 2009-2010 Season)

Over-30 League Promotion and Relegation:

Bottom team will relegated from the First Division
Top team will be promoted from the Second Division
Bottom team will relegated from the Second Division
Third Division East and West Champions will be play-off for the overall Third Division Championship and promotion

Masters League Promotion and Relegation:

Bottom team will relegated from the First Division
Top team will be promoted from the Second Division
Bottom team will relegated from the Second Division
Third Division East and West Champions will be play-off for the overall Third Division Championship and promotion
