IMPORTANT! Please note that some dates are subject to change. Particularly those for events such as meetings. DISCLAIMER: This calendar is meant as a guideline. The Website Administrator has tried to make sure all dates are correct. If, however, any date does not look correct -- particularly for any games (all SASL and CSSA games are usually scheduled for Sundays) -- please double-check with the Website Administrator!
28-Jan-2006	SASL Annual General Meeting ** Mandatory attendance ** Teams not represented will be FINED! Also, the CSSA AGM and the annual Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame induction (attendance not mandatory).
08-Mar-2006	Team Information Sheet postmarked no later than March 8 -- ** must ** have manager and assistant manager e-mail contacts included.
08-Mar-2006	Initial registration of at least sixteen (16) players are required no later than March 8.
03-Apr-2006	Waiver of Liability forms for all registered players are required no later than April 3.
03-Apr-2006	April 3 is the registration last postmarked date accepted for the season start on April 23. All registrations postmarked after this date will not be processed for the first league game on April 23. Those registrations will be processed for the second game on April 30.
03-Apr-2006	7:00 PM SASL Pre-season Meeting at the Portuguese Club, Wallingford (click here for map). ** Mandatory attendance ** At least one representative from each team must attend.
16-Apr-2006	Easter Sunday -- no games.
23-Apr-2006	SASL League Season Opening Day for Over-30s and the Masters League.
30-Apr-2006	CSSA Over-30 and Over-40 State Cups applications with $50 entry fee due by April 30. The draw will be made on May 1. Group play begins on May 14.
01-May-2006	CSSA Over-30 and Over-40 State Cups qualifying groups draw.
14-May-2006	CSSA State Cup Opening Day for Over-30 and Over-40 Cups.
14-May-2006	Mothers Day -- no scheduled League games, except for Masters League Second Division, but is a mandatory make-up date.
28-May-2006	Memorial Day Weekend -- no games.
03-Jun-2006	National Soccer Hall of Fame Over-40 Tournament in Oneonta, upstate New York, June 3 & 4.
18-Jun-2006	Fathers Day -- Over-30s and Masters League kick-off at 9:00 AM.
02-Jul-2006	Independence Day holiday is on the 4th -- no games on the 2nd?.
09-Jul-2006	SASL Summer break begins. Regular season resumes on August 13 for the Over-30s and the SASL Masters League.
19-Jul-2006	USASA National Veterans Cup Mens and Womens Adult Soccer Tournaments at Wilmington, North Carolina. Men's Over 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 & 60. Women's Over 30, 40, 45, 50 & 55. July 19-23. Also, try THIS LINK for more information.
22-Jul-2006	National Soccer Hall of Fame Over-30 Tournament in Oneonta, upstate New York, July 22 & 23.

12-Aug-2006	12th Annual Zimmitti Memorial Tournament, Pontelandolfo Club, Waterbury, Connecticut, August 12 & 13. Over-40s only. Application Form or telephone the Pontelandolfo Club for more information.
13-Aug-2006	SASL season resumes for the fall.
03-Sep-2006	Labour Day Weekend -- no games.
10-Sep-2006	CSSA Over-30 and Over-40 State Cup Quarter-Finals.
week of 02-Oct-2006	CSSA Over-30 and Over-40 State Cup Semi-Finals. Kick-off at 7:00 PM. Dates and fields to be determined!
08-Oct-2006	Columbus Day Weekend -- no scheduled League games, except for Masters League Second Division.
17-Oct-2006	CSSA Over-30 and Over-40 State Cup Finals. Kick-off at 7:00 PM. Rescheduled owing to weather.
24-Oct-2006	CSSA Over-30 State Cup Final. Kick-off at 8:00 PM at Falcon Field, New Britain.
25-Oct-2006	CSSA Over-40 State Cup Final. Kick-off at 7:30 PM at Rotary (Breen) Field, Naugatuck.
29-Oct-2006	Scheduled end of the regular SASL season. Does not apply for make-up games, play-offs and cup games still to be played.
05-Nov-2006	Fall make-up games begin.
12-Nov-2006	Over-30s Third Division play-offs.
19-Nov-2006	Scheduled end of the SASL season for all teams.
01-Dec-2006	IMPORTANT! All teams must return all player passes to the SASL Registrar, due no later than two weeks after the last game of the season.
